‘After Death’ A Gripping Film that Explores the Afterlife

John Burke is the founder and lead pastor of Gateway Church, Texas. He chatted with Jordana, to answer some of those big questions around what happens after we die.

“For the last 35 years I’ve studied well over 1000 cases of near-death experience,” he said.

“When people clinically die, they have no heartbeat, no brain waves, some for minutes, some for hours and yet they consistently come back, saying that they experienced a life more real than this one.

“All these commonalities and that is true all over the world.”

‘After Death’ started when he film’s producer Stephen saw John sharing about his research on TV and contacted John.

“He said, we’ve got to make a movie about this!” John said.

“This evidence has convinced many skeptical medical doctors and scientists that there is life after death.

“For instance, when people die, they leave their bodies but initially they say they’re still in the room where the resuscitation is happening.

“And when they’re resuscitated, they can report things they should not have been able to see and there have actually been scientific studies done that have determined of the observations that people made, that can be verified, either yes or no.

“92% of their observations are completely accurate.”

‘After Death’ will be enjoyed by believers because, John says, “you’re going to see that what these people are saying, that we interviewed, aligns with what the Bible’s been teaching us and telling us all along.

“But it’s probably even better for those who don’t believe – agnostic, or even atheist.

“It really opens the door for great conversation.”
