Three years ago Anthony volunteered at an event put on by an organisation for the homeless. He then decided to start Presence Streets by walking around the streets of Surfers Paradise feeding and clothing the homeless.
“I get out on the streets and talk to all the lost and broken, basically all the homeless and drug people with addiction and have a chat with them, feed them, clothe them, give the Bibles see what I can do to help them,” Anthony said.
Several local businesses and Community members are donating food such as Pizzas and fresh fruit and clothing and blankets.
Anthony also holds a BBQ every Saturday at Surfers Paradise Park from 12-2pm and volunteers at Presence Church who have been helping him with space for donations.
“Gods got a big calling in my life and I’ve got a big passion to help the lost and broken,” he said.
If you would like to help or donate head to Presence Church in Surfers Paradise or contact Anthony Grech on Facebook.
