Starting at Jesus’ birth, covering His miracles, introducing His death and why we need it, His resurrection and finishing on the light of Jesus for us; this book will give you a simple, yet powerful tool to start speaking about Christ to your baby.

 The stark contrast in the pictures really captured her attention as I read through the simple rhymes; she was able to gesture to images of Jesus as a baby, the boat as He calmed the storm, the cross, the emptiness of the tomb and finally the hope we have on the third day.

Whilst she clearly couldn’t comprehend the words, the variance between light and dark was enough to hold her interest, whilst we covered some highlights of the gospel.

‘Light in the Dark’ is a great resource for anyone looking at engaging newborns, inspiring curiosity whilst also introducing them to the greatest news of all- the love of Jesus.
