And honestly, if you spend even five minutes watching the news you can easily become convinced Jesus should just come already – wars, human trafficking, natural disasters… how much worse can things get!

While the world seems to be turning upside down, our God hasn’t changed, and His plan is the one that will prevail.

Perhaps you are like I was, believing with all my heart that He will one day return for His people therefore I didn’t need to get into the nitty-gritty details of Revelations – after all, it was going to happen whether I understood all the symbolism or not, right? But as John points out, this matter is one of the most discussed topics in the Bible. If it is that important to God, who are we to say ‘I don’t need to pay attention!’
