Rosies – Friends on the Street is proud to introduce their new outreach van to the area.

“The new van will significantly enhance Rosies’ capacity to provide friendship and support to those experiencing homelessness, social isolation, or hardship in the Gold Coast North community,” the organisation said in a statement.

“Thanks to their collective generosity we can continue to be a consistent presence on the street for those who need it most.”

Rosies – Friends on the Street is a grassroots organization dedicated to providing community and connection through street outreach.

The team cares for individuals experiencing homelessness, hardship, or social isolation.

With a dedicated team of 1,650 volunteers and 14 branches across the state, Rosies conducts over 210 outreaches each month, offering companionship and support to those in need.

The christening will be held at 10am on Wednesday, 30 April, at the James Frizelle Charitable Foundation office, located at 18 Nind Street, Southport.
