Kids are taught about road safety and hygiene but how much do they know about child safety.
Bravehearts had their White Balloon Day on Friday and CEO of Bravehearts, Alison Geale, explains they are a child protection organisation who provide many services to help, support and educate kids and adults.
“It’s a day where we ask people, if they are parents or caregivers or close to children, to start the conversation about child protection,” she said.
Both Bravehearts and White Balloon Day are celebrating 25 years and encourage parents to start the conversation about child safety with their kids.
“It should be included in those basic life skills from an early age, to ensure they are kept safe,” Alison said.
